| Established in 2004, the One Planet Communities programme started here at the BedZED eco-village in Hackbridge, South London where BioRegional’s headquarters are now based. Inspired by the lessons we learned in the process of developing BedZED, staff in our London office work directly on the communities in the UK and Europe as well as supporting the project work of the regional offices when needed. | ||

PeoplePooran Desai, MA (Oxon) OBE HonFRIBA Pooran co-founded BioRegional Development Group in 1994. He is Sustainability Director of sustainable property development company BioRegional Quintain Ltd and heads up BioRegional’s One Planet Communities programme. More. Catherine Sweeney Catherine works to ensure that the comunities programme is as beneficial to our project partners as possible (i.e. makes sure things tick along efficiently!). She keeps the channels of communication open throughout the network and shares the lessons learnt. More. Ben Gill Based in Greece, Ben works directly with One Planet Communities partners in Europe and Australia to develop sustainability strategies and ensure that projects are on track for meeting the Common International Targets. |
