The first fully endorsed One Planet Community in Europe is Mata de Sesimbra development in Portugal . Since that early success while BioRegional Europe have worked on projects in France and Switzerland these have not been converted into fully endorsed projects. More encouragingly there has been a recent increase in interest from projects in France and also North Africa – so hopefully there will soon be additional projects in the region.

BioRegional Europe office also oversee projects in Australia. The first project using the One Planet framework in the region is being developed in Sydney at Barangaroo.There has also been considerable recent interest from projects in Melbourne, and BioRegional have also undertaken consulting work in Canberra and Adelaide.
